Sable Mining Africa is an up-and-coming iron ore business that has consistently beaten expectations. Potential: Phil Edmonds' mine in Guinea, West Africa, holds quality ore. The group needs between 250million and 300million to bring the mine to production - a relatively small sum in mining terms and it is expected to use a combination of bank debt and equity. The group hopes to start building the mine next year and start selling its ore at the end of 2015, starting with five million tons a year and rising to ten million tons annually three years later.
